MONTECARLO WINE FESTIVAL – SEP

On the hills of Lucca, the history of Montecarlo is strictly related to the history of its wine, which
dates back to IXth Century, and exactly 846a.d., according to the oldest papers which witness wine
production in the Medieval village. 
Every year, the first half of September, Montecarlo celebrates the grapes harvest with a 10 days
long Festival, where you can eat and especially drink good local wines along the streets.
