Florence – cradle of he Renaissance – houses some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world. Walking in the center, UNESCO World Heritage, is like browsing a history book.

Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, with Giotto bell tower and the Baptistery, the churches of Santa Maria Novella, Santa Croce, San Marco e San Lorenzo, with Medici Chapels and Laurentian Library, are the main religious complexes of the city, real art galleries, located within a few hundred meters north of the Arno River.

The Uffizi Gallery, the Academy Gallery and Bargello house extraordinary masterpieces.

Crossing the Old Bridge, crowed of jewelleries, it’s “Oltrarno”, where the collections of Pitti Palace value a visit, together with Boboli Garden.

Climbing to piazzale Michelangelo and the Church of San Miniato al Monte it’s possible to appreciate a breathtaking view on the city below.
